Project update |
| |
|
| |
Through my experiences of visiting schools
to see trainee teachers it was evident that
many Design Technology teachers taught this
subject to a prescriptive formula with little
scope for creativity. I produced an aid that
would allow teachers an extra resource to
their teaching that promoted "risk-taking".
The CD would provide evidence of processes
and examples of children's work. |
| |
|
| |
I worked alongside undergraduate trainee
teachers using these processes through a series
of projects. I then followed the trainee teachers
into the classroom to track how the children
that the trainees taught responded. I recorded
the outcomes. |

Some of the information
on the CD explains simply how the brain works,
basically which side does what, how to understand
where ones strengths lie, how to stimulate
the brain, how to use mind mapping but generally
to be inquisitive. |

The CD has evidence of work
produced from Keystage 2 to Degree Level. |
