We plan to involve the LEA mathematics Inspector
in a joint training session for primary teachers
of years 5 and 6 and secondary teachers of
year 7, this will take place on a training
day. The findings would be disseminated to
the LEA Best Practice Portfolio. Our intention
is to publish training materials on the school
intranet for the convenience of teachers who
become new to the schools after the project
has finished. We plan to focus on a ‘generalising’
approach and the development of ‘Using
and Applying Mathematics’ |
